How are fantasy cuts different from traditional faceting?

Fantasy cuts involve cutting channels or grooves into the stone, whereas traditional faceting is limited to creating flat facets. Fantasy cutting can result in some interesting effects that cannot be achieved with traditional faceting.

Do you cut the gemstones on your website?

Yes! Every gemstone you see is faceted by me in my home workshop in Southern California. None of my work is mass-produced or outsourced to foreign cutting houses.

Do you accept custom commissions?

I accept a limited number of open commissions at any given time. If you have a project in mind, or if you see a gem you love that is sold out, feel free to reach out via the contact form and I would love to discuss!

Do you make finished jewelry pieces?

Yes! The gemstones I cut can be finished in ring settings. You can see our available bespoke ring settings under the "Build Your Own Ring" tab.

Do you offer both lab and natural gemstones?

Yes! I precision-cut both lab and natural gems.
